Our Philosophy

Client-Centered Personalization |  Evidence-Based & Trauma Informed Care | Family Involvement Interdisciplinary Team Approach and Collaboration | Pharmacological Intervention

At Release Recovery Centers, our treatment philosophy is grounded in the core values of respect, dignity, and empathy for all of our clients and their families. We are committed to offering care that addresses the whole person, recognizing that healing goes beyond merely managing visible behaviors and symptoms. Our approach focuses on understanding and supporting the individual as a whole, ensuring that every aspect of their well-being is considered in the recovery process.

We strive to provide effective, evidence-based treatment to all our clients by applying Trauma Informed standards of care throughout all our services.  We utilize modalities such as NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM ®), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Post Induction Therapy (PIT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Creative Arts Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Psychodrama, Holistic Modalities, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Coupled with medication intervention, family involvement, and our 12-week treatment model, we can accurately diagnose, assess, and improve quality of life for our clients.

We believe that no substance use or mental health disorder is routine and recognize the pain, loss and shame associated with addiction. We incorporate multiple holistic practices to emphasize the healing of the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.  By creating a trusting environment grounded in safety we cultivate the necessary space for intrinsic emotional and behavioral transformation to thrive.  Our trauma informed approach empowers our clients with agency and fosters deep connections with themselves and others to establish a new attitude and outlook towards life.

At Release Recovery Centers, we strive to understand our clients and families as having complex interpersonal relationships with diverse life experiences. We believe it is essential that the treatment process for the family is viewed as being parallel to the treatment process for our clients. Our family component enables the family to understand that recovery is not solely about their loved ones’ healing, it’s about helping the family achieve a new equilibrium and heal together as a unit. Our relational context encourages clients and families to work through previous experiential avoidance rooted in the physiological, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual implications of addiction and mental health and create a new attitude towards life.
