  • We require clients to remain abstinent from illicit substances while in our care. We have seen that clients reap the most benefits from clinical care when abstinent from recreational substances.

  • Clients must start at either PHP or IOP and step down to an outpatient level of care.

  • Yes, we drug test our clients randomly 1-2x per week and work with a laboratory for more in depth urinalysis reports.

  • We offer a variety of groups including psychoeducational, experiential, process, relapse prevention, and more. We utilize modalities such as NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM ®), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Post Induction Therapy (PIT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Creative Arts Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Psychodrama, Holistic Modalities, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

  • We understand that relapses are a part of recovery. We assess the relapse from a clinical and medical perspective to identify how we can better support the client and their family.

  • At Release Recovery Centers, we recognize how challenging it can be to navigate substance use and mental health struggles—whether for yourself or a loved one. Our team of knowledgeable, dedicated professionals is here to provide you with the guidance and support you need to take the first steps toward healing and lasting recovery. Once you reach out to our Admissions team, they will guide you through the process by conducting a screening, assessing the appropriate level of care, and recommending the best course of action.

  • Release Recovery Centers welcomes collaboration with outside care teams. In an effort to maintain cohesion throughout treatment, we do ask that clients sign an ROI allowing their outside providers to collaborate with Release Recovery Centers.

  • Release Recovery Centers is an out-of-network provider, allowing us to offer personalized care without insurance restrictions. Many plans include out-of-network benefits, which may cover part of treatment costs. Our team will help you navigate your coverage and maximize your benefits, making the process as smooth as possible.

  • Controlled medications do not prevent clients from engaging at Services at Release Recovery Centers. We support Medication-Assisted Treatment and work with clients on a case-by-case basis. Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Michael McCormick, will work with all of our Clients to determine the appropriate medication regimens.

  • Program length varies by level of care. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is 2-4 weeks, Daytime Intensive Outpatient is 8-12 weeks, and OP length varies on a case by case basis.

  • Nighttime IOP is designed for working professionals who are working on their recovery and able to maintain activities of daily living. The program is 12 weeks.

  • We understand first-hand the importance of urgency when a person is ready and willing to get help. We try to move as quickly through the process as possible, but it is comprehensive. To effectively capture all relevant information and history from current providers, loved ones, and the client themselves, ideally, we have at least one week from first contact to admission.

  • Release Recovery Centers only provide outpatient clinical services. Please click here to be redirected to residential programs.

  • Once you reach out to our Admissions team, they will guide you through the process by conducting a screening, assessing the appropriate level of care, and recommending the best course of action. We offer programs that can accommodate working professionals when appropriate.

  • While Release promotes health and wellness, we do permit clients to smoke in designated smoking areas; and for anyone seeking to quit, we encourage smoking cessation aids and will provide support.

  • Release Recovery Centers works with clients 18 and older.

  • Release Recovery Centers treatment philosophy is based in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team methodology and client centered approach. We strive to provide effective, evidence-based treatment to all our clients by applying Trauma Informed standards of care throughout all our services.

  • Many individuals who struggle with Substance Use Disorder also have mental health diagnoses, which is what we refer to as co-occurring disorders. Although we are substance abuse primary, we are able to offer support for both substance abuse & mental health diagnoses concurrently.

  • We believe that no substance use or mental health disorder is routine and recognize the pain, loss and shame associated with addiction. We incorporate multiple holistic practices to emphasize the healing of the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.  By creating a trusting environment grounded in safety we cultivate the necessary space for intrinsic emotional and behavioral transformation to thrive. Our trauma informed approach empowers our clients with agency and fosters deep connections with themselves and others to establish a new attitude and outlook towards life. 

    At Release Recovery Centers, we strive to understand our clients and families as having complex interpersonal relationships with diverse life experiences. We believe it is essential that the treatment process for the family is viewed as being parallel to the treatment process for our clients. Our family component enables the family to understand that recovery is not solely about their loved ones’ healing, it’s about helping the family achieve a new equilibrium and heal together as a unit. Our relational context encourages clients and families to work through previous experiential avoidance rooted in the physiological, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual implications of addiction and mental health and create a new attitude towards life.

  • Release Recovery Centers offers comprehensive family programming including weekly support groups, education workshops, and family wellness weekends.

  • Best outcomes occur when all members of the family are involved. Your clinical team will tailor the family's treatment plan to each client’s specific needs.

  • Release Recovery Centers will assist Clients in setting up a comprehensive aftercare plan to ensure the Client and their family is set up for continued success.
